They are just getting you ready or familiar with seeing him in red and blue. I am very tired of it myself. They could at least change his style of shirt but keep the color.

If you notice most of the things he wears are either red, blue or white, or some combination of them. The writers swore that they would never have him in the tights, but by showing him in blue and red there's foreshadowing. Also, the red, white, and blue, could relate to how Clark Kent is presumed to be the All-American boy.

Hey, the show is on a tight budget. They have to pay for all that other stuff they either burn or blow up. Not everyone is rich like Lex, after all.

It is Superman's theme...red and blue....so they are incorporated it into the show..since he will one day be Superman.....
