Bad breathe is caused by bacteria breeding in your word hole....especially on your tongue and gums.

Serious infections can only be treated by a dentist e.g. an impacted tooth will really make your breath smell bad.

Some infections can only be treated by a Doctor... (eg tonsilitis or throat infections can really give you bad breathe.)

Brushing after every meal is usually mandatory to avoid it. A good antiseptic mouth wash is really useful if you have a slight infection.

Avoiding certain foods (garlic, for example) is a good ploy but a limiting method.

You should go to your dentist first. Sometimes really bad breath is a dental issue. My husband had horrible breath and come to find out he had a painless abscess that had eaten right the roof of his mouth! That's the first place to start. Then be sure your tongue is getting clean. There are all kinds of easy to use tongue cleaners available now. If you have sinus problems that can cause bad breath too.Any kind of bacteria can contribute. Check into these things first.

Bad breath is caused often because you haven't brushed and flossed well .If you don't keep teeth and gums free of the bacterial buildup, they'll start to cause odor as the bacteria rot leftover food particles in your mouth. A few seeds of cardamon chewed for a brief while will clear your mouth of bad breath. Chew parsley leaves, which are sure to keep your breath fresh. See your dentist and have your teeth cleaned and checked. You need to brush and floss at least once a day, better twice, in the morning and at bedtime. Poke out your tongue and brush it too, as a lot of bacteria can collect on your tongue. Dink enough water to keep stomach acids going the right direction, and don't eat sweet stuff, it only adds to the problem. Best wishes

Mainly, floss carefully and brush at least three times a day. You can always use breath-fresheners, but good dental hygiene is the most effective way to keep halitosis at bay.
