To me it's the AFC West. With Denver, San Diego, and KC you have three teams that have legitimate chances of making it to the Superbowl. Not to mention 3 of the best running teams in the league.

Hahahha the NFC north is only the Bears. Not at all the best division in the League.

The AFC North is coming along but the Bengals and the Ravens still aren't enough. If the Steeler's didn't fall apart you might have a little case.

The AFC East again is only the Patriots. I consider the Jets a Fluke and Buffalo isn't doing much and Miami still has a few things to work out.

The NFC West is a pile of crap. Seattle was good for a second but not anymore.

Ok the AFC South is good. The Colts of course have been great the last few years and finally got thier championship. The Jags have been threatening but haven't been consistant enough to get it done. Look out for the Titans in about three years.

The NFC South would be a good case as well if the teams had any consistancy. Every year it seems The Division champ from the year before falls flat on thier face. If all Thoise teams could straighten out and contend EVERY year then yes you would have a strong case.

You are correct. The AFC West has 3 solid playoff contenders. Just that alone makes them the best division. No other AFC division has more than 2 real contenders for the playoffs and the entire NFC is a joke.

GO CHIEFS!!!!!!!!

Well...
The Pac 10...I mean the NFC west should be a little bit better this season.
The AFC North and West are strong arguments, how bout the south. Indy obviously won the Superbowl. Jacksonville should be really tough again, and don't forget about the Titans this year. Haven't been keeping tabs on this year's draft prospects.
One thing I think we all agree is the weakness of the NFC. Other than the Cowboys or Bears, I see no real threats.

Hahahaha @ the guy who says ANY nfc conference. The NFC is soooo weak right now compared to the AFC. The real championship games were the Patriots-Chargers game and the Colts-Patriots game. The Bears-Colts game was just a formality.

But yeah, I agree with you about the AFC West. It's crazy with the salary cap and parity and all that that 3 of the very best teams could possibly be in the same conference.

PLease, it has to be the NFC South. Despite the fact that one team always has a very bad record. The other 3 are always in playoff contention. Since 2002 the NFC south have represented the NFC twice in the superbowl with the Panthers in 2003 and the Bucs in 2002(and they won..woot)
Every other time the nfc south have always gone to the nfc championship. Atlanta in 2004, Carolina in 2005, and New Orleans in 2006. No other division in the NFL has that record of their division goin to the Conference championship for 5 consecutive years including every team goin at least once since 2002(Carolina have been to the NFC championship twice)

I'm goin with the AFC South. This division has been owned by the Colts for a while, but the competition is going to pick up very soon.

The AFC East. They only have one legitimate contender for the Super Bowl but if you know who I am talking about, you'll know that this team is more than a legitimate contender.

referring to your details, the nfc is crap, but no longer the bears as they're going down the drain again. lol. there are many divisions that are tough, but i feel the nfc south is the toughest as every team is a legitimate threat.
