You’ve got sensitive skin so you shouldn’t be using anything too harsh to control the oil or it will make the redness worse. The Avene Eau Thermale range is just perfect to care for your sensitive red skin while gently controlling oil. Cleanse your face with Avene Extremely Gentle Cleanser, which was developed for use on easily irritated skin. Rich in Avène thermal spring water, this mild cleanser is fragrance-free and cleans without ********* away the natural ils. Follow with Avene Anti-redness Light Moisturiser, , to leave your skin soft and soothed, while diffusing redness. Avene Eau Thermale Diroseal, , is a treatment for redness that will be of real benefit to you if you can make the effort use it each day. We’ve talked about treating the problem, now let’s look at covering up what’s already there. Smashbox Photo Finish Correcting Primer in Adjust, is ideal for neutralizing redness, and is just about the best foundation primer ever! Don’t make the mistake of caking foundation on, instead use Napoleon Perdis Camera Finish Powder Foundation, which has an extremely subtle green tint to it. Don’t worry, you’re not going to look like Shrek, it’s just has a neutralizing undertone. Control oil during the day with blotting papers, they absorb oil instead of covering it up. Try Napoleon Perdis Voila! Oil Control Paper they are perfect to keep in your bag. Also if you’re sitting near heating or air conditioning during the day ask to move your desk because it could be making the redness worse.

inform yourself with a good skin care routine.
i would use a scrub every other day. Cleanse, tone and moisturize EVERY morning. Use a moisturizer that calms uneven red skin tone (my problem too!) like Aveeno. Even if your skin greasy or whatever always moisturize it. I use Aveeno at night and a product from Yves Rocher during the day. The Yves Rocher product is really good.its a face lotion that mattifies, making your skin not shiny, and your pores small. Its really good for the day, under foundation. And if you dont like the redness on your face go ahead and wear foundation. Just make sure u do it with clean fingers, never a sponge (eeek!)
-i dont know how to get rid of blackheads tho. if you can afford it (or have a bday coming up, ask someone for it?); go get a facial. One that includes extractions. Thats teh only way i can get rid of them.
good luck!!

there are many products out there but i would suggest checking out a company called artistry skin car and cosmetics. they are rated in the top 5 prestigious brands of skin care and cosmetics and they are the only company to put a guaranteed improvement rate on all of their skin care products! they also offer a 100% money back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied! plus every one of there products is tested on sensitive skin so it is totally safe for any skin type!
there are many different products that i would suggest. but if you feel that you have sensitive skin i would start out with just a skin care system (probably the sensitive skin one) and use it 2 x a day when you wake up and before bed. i would also suggest the poor cleansing masque. this will pull out all of the "impurities" on your skin and help to curb future break outs! if you are really concerned with the shininess and feel that you don't have supper sensitive skin i would suggest using the clarifying system this helps to control oil for up to 12 hours! there is also a blemish control that helps to lighten the redness of breakouts. anyway check it out!
you can purchase artistry products at www.vherr.qhealthbeauty.com
and you can get more information on artistry at
www.artistry.com
i know that you will love this stuff as much as i do ! let me know if you have questions!

I just copied my last answer because it applies to you too!
A father's daughter had problems with her skin, so he developed a very famous line of makeup to help her and it is helping millions of us now. It is called MAC Makeup and you can only purchase it at Nordstrums. MAC face powder is fabulous at covering everything and yet feels so light. MAC sales artists are well trained at matching skin-tones so just ask what shade they think will fit you best...and as a bonus... MAC is not very expensive!
P.S. Save your compacts for a free lipstick...you will love MAC's entire line of makeup...
P.S.S. Others have suggested trying Bare Essentials. I have seen the advertisement for Bare Essentials and it appears to work on many skin conditions to include blotchiness-but I have never tried it...
