Yes it will go out if you flush. Keep in mind you will likely also melt your toilet seat if it is plastic, then you will fall in.

Why would you want to chance badly burning, or even killing your family, you, your Innocent neighbors, their kids, their kids pet ,your pets. How long have you been playing with fire?Do you know , you could spend the rest of your life in prison, if you happened to hurt another person, or burned the place down? But I'm sure you will realize that ,when you grow up and become an adult. That's if, you do. If you put lighter fluid in the toilet, it could cause an explosion from the gas in the sewer lines. Now do you really want to chance that?

If you really get bored and still have some lighter fluid left over, you could try drinking some and seeing if you can set fire to you urine.

It would go out. lighter fuel needs air to burn. the rush of water at the point of the first flush would not allow air to get in contact with the fuel and so off it goes... Theoretically that's what should happen, but I wouldn't try to prove it!!!

what reason is there to put lighter fluid in a toilet.it most probably go out but if it did not snuff out it could cause an explosion in the sewerage system if there was a build up of methane gas down there.

in the first place why would you want to try something like that lighter fluid is highly flammable and you could get badly burned and second of all sewer gas could cause a major explosion it just isnt worth it to see what if

I don't think it would do anything, but that is no guarantee. It could blow if you have methane gas in the line. that is a stupid thing to do. Why not just put a match to the curtains if you want to burn the house down?
