The best cleanser is Ivory soap and a white was towel, the best toner is plain Witch Hazel, and for a good moisturizer use Nadinola Cocoa Butter cream. All of these items can be purchase at any drugstore usually all for under $10.00 total. I'm 34 and most ppl think I'm 24, so it's been working for me for many years now. Hope this helps!

Blackheads are a total pain and can be tricky to conceal. I suggest trying an oil-free tinted moisturiser as this is a great alternative to foundation and won’t clog pores like some foundations can. To actually try and minimise the appearance of blackheads and help clear out those pore blockages, the best way is through a gentle exfoliating action. I would recommend Clean & Clear® Blackhead Clearing Cleanser and Blackhead Clearing Toner. The Cleanser has a unique blend of gentle beads that gently exfoliate the skins surface, breaking down blackheads. Next, a special cleansing ingredient is deposited in the skin, working deep down to clear pores to help fight blackheads.

Try a tinted moisturizer instead of a foundation, because then it's a bit more sheer and your mom might be more open to the idea. As for cleansers it depends on your skin type, if you have sensitive skin, dry, or acne prone skin, I suggest Cetaphil gentle cleanser because it doesn't contain any soap so it's very gentle and not drying. If you have oily skin a cleanser that helps with oil production could help.

I would try mary kay facial bar soap but it really drys your skin out so use mary kay Velocity Facial lotion. I use it and it works really good. The facial lotion gets rid of excess oil on your face but keeps the natural oils in there. The facial soap and moisterizer is $22 together. You get what you pay for.
