Buying a new freezer and trying to choose between a 16.7 or 20.4 cu. ft. model.
I have an old,old 13 cu. ft. manual defrost model.

<>That's kind of a tough question and there are a number of considerations. Did you "outgrow" the 13 cf? How much stuff are you freezing? And for how long? Do you lose anything to freezer burn? Buy biggest you can afford. Make sure that you can afford to keep it at least 1/2 full all the time. The more items in it the cheaper to run. Buy a white one, it reflects the light. I bought a chrome finish fridge and freezer [huge] and my kitchen appears dull, need to have lights on all the time.
