I have a 90 model chevy 4 whell drive, it just went to the shop to have the idler arm , pitman arm, and inner tie rod ends replaced. Now it turns sharper to one direction than the other. Whats going on?

The pitman arm was not installed at the right position.

The pitman arm has two positions it can fit into.

I'm pretty sure me pitman arm is master splined which means you can't screw it up. But something is definately amiss. I would take it back and complain. Did the do an alignment after they were done? If they say yes I wouldn't trust it too much take it somewhere on the opposite end of town and have it aligned.

The steering geometry changed some how. They probably did not install the pitman arm correctly. If they installed it "off center" it would create the problem you have.
