I have heard he is permanently dead now....do they plan to bring him back?

As of the current 11th season going into tonight's new episode his death count is up to 95 (78 in the series, to date, 2 in the early animated shorts, 6 in other authorized TV parodies, 4 times in the video game, and once in the movie. He is also killed 2 different ways in the opening sequence. But 78 out of the 156 episodes as of 3/27/2007.

There's no way to really know unless you go back and count. He'll just keep dying on the new episodes. We'll have to wait until they stop the show.

He has died to many times to keep track of ,but I think he will still be around in future episodes.

He was in the last episode. He's alive, until they decide to kill him again.
