he doesnt get alot of press which is probably the way he wants it, but if you asked around the nfl his name would come up alot.l.t. is the only thing san diego has going offensively so he gets the bulk of the load, and he should.westbrook will come into his own vey soon.

I would say yes. Next step and a true MVP candidate. However that is based on how far he can take the Eagles. I think Philly is more tuned in as a team to Westbrook vs. McNabb. However the injury bug as stated before is a achilles heel for him.

Next season if he continues on his current pace he can be mentioned with the LT's, LJ's, Alexanders, and even (the new) Stephen Jackson. One thing I saw from Westbrook late in the season was his fire and compassion to lead the team and win at all costs (take over the games when necessary).

But if he gets hit by the injury bug again... there are a few good young runners that look willing and can be ready to overtake him in his elite status. If he stays healthy, if the Eagles can stay winners, and if McNabb and Andy Reid can figure out the team should run through Westbrook vs. McNabb... the skies the limit for this guy.

Brian Westbrook can become the best back in the league, but he needs more carries, a stronger offensive line, and a coach that puts 100% trust in his abilities. Sadly, I believe he is under used for his skill, and that another team would be able to suite his needs. The Eagles are too pass oriented to fit his needs.

No, Westbrook has reached his peak. He will be good, but he will never dominate all on his own like LT or LJ. He would be great in the 2 back system with a big power runner. They would be just like Reggie Bush and Deuce McAllister.

One of the the NFL's most dangerous and versatile running backs...when healthy. There in lies the true question. Can he remain healthy an entire season? Hasn't happened yet.

Personally I say NO. Last year he did great due to low injuries. But years prior he has been injury plagued. If he can avoid injury he might have a chance but I think he may face another knee issue shortly.

YES HE IS. HE CAN RUN CATCH JUKE BLOCK HE IS THE TOTAL PACKAGE AND I THINK HE WILL BE THE NEXT GREAT. WATCH OUT EVERYONE BECAUSE HE MIGHT BE THE MOST UNDERRATED PLAYER IN THE NFL.
