I have heard that you can tell when you are most fertile when you have thinner cervical mucous/discharge. I dont really have any discharge, at any time of my cycle. Very faint, if any. Does that mean that I am not ovulating?

Try to use test that shows you when you are going to ovulate.

No. I don't either. And I ovulate just fine. Some women just don't. Luckily there are other ways to tell. I get a little crampy when I'm ovulating. My breasts are more tender than usual. And, as a mother of four, I get this sudden urge to send my husband out of town for the weekend and curl up with a good book, lol. Use an ovulation kit to learn what your particular symptoms are. Write down in a calendar everything you notice, from headaches to gas, and match it up with what the kit tells you is going on. Soon enough you'll see a pattern. Good luck!

Actually the discharge is thicker and stickier durring ovulation. Also if you track your temperature(first thing upon wakening) at the time of your ovulation your temps will go up. You can also try ovulation predictor tests, but of course if you are not actually ovulating these will not help. You can however see a dr who can do a series of blood tests to tell if you are ovulating if you want to go that route. Good luck

You don't have to have a lot of CM if you are ovulating... but go to the dr to check.
Normally you have extra wet or stretchy CM when ovulating, but again, not everyone does.
