Yes. The hardest part for me will be the price. What is it $25/head? A family of four (assuming everyone is 12 or older, I guess) would be $100!

Sure I would. And I don't have a problem with it. It is really cool to look straight down into the depths of the Grand Canyon. Sort of like a glass bottom boat. For those purists that want to preserve the Grand Canyon, I say that a little promenade at the lip of the canyon does little to spoil the natural beauty of it all. It's not big deal, enviornmentally impact-wise, so let it be. People will get a big kick out of it and it has little impact on the Canyon's environmental health. I'm all for it and I would love to take a stroll on the Skywalk. My only issue is that they have to go and charge a fee for the privilege. Come on now, with the billions the government p isses away on Iraq, one would think they could toss in a freebe here and there.

No i does no longer circulate on the Sky walk. to make certain the Grand Canyon you should hike it from the right to the backside. The terrain modifications as you hike right down to the backside and once you get low sufficient you will the roaring colorado river. suitable time to hike the Grand Canyon isn't throughout the middle of summer season. The temperatures on the right are approximately 80 to ninety levels however the backside is even warmer! one hundred + levels. I hiked it for the time of early March and it grow to be ideal. there grow to be nonetheless snow on the right and once I have been given to the backside it grow to be 80 levels... you are able to camp down there etc...

Yep! yep! yep!!!
In fact, I'm going there in 3 weeks time and I'm so excited about it!

Someone said that the price is $25 a head, but that's JUST to walk on it.
You will be charged an entrance fee for Hualapai Indian Reservation, which is a steep $49 + tax per person, not per vehicle, and that doesn't even cover the cost of Skywalk.
So, it's actually $74 + tax per head to do it!!!

Having said that, an 'All you can eat' lunch buffet (the taste is not guaranteed, of course) and there are some other attractions in the reservation.

I'm not too worried about its durability and so on.
I'm just hoping we won't get a $74 worth of disappointment.

I would walk on it, but I wish it weren't there. The Indians need the income, and it is good they are trying something other than gambling. 'Just wish the Skywalk had been built between tall buildings or some other place where there are already parking lots. Maybe I'm wrong. We don't think of the pyramids as messing up the desert.

No I wouldn't. It's not because I wouldn't feel safe. It's because the price for a ticket is way too high. If I had a free ticket, I'd have no problem going out there. I also feel they are taking away the natural beauty of the Grand Canyon.

After walking around the observation deck of the CN tower (glass floor) walking out on the SkyWalk would be nothing.

Yes, I would. It's guaranteed to be safe, and gives you a bit of a rush when you go on it. I've been on the glass floor in the CN Tower, and given that's much less adrenaline-pumping, it still gives you a great sense of accomplishment. I can't see why somebody would not go on it.
