Depends on the girl. Some girls don't know they're ugly lol :)

stylish is more important, because it gives a sense of creativity, or at least re-creativity. just because someone is pretty doesn't mean they necessarily look as good as they can, but with a stylish girl, she'll look the best no matter how "pretty" she is. besides, a stylish girl can help the boyfriend/husband out in regards to fashion here and there, especially with some risque fashion statements, and real authentic guys appreciate that [the mindless ones who just wear what's popular might not be able to understand it, though]

I believe that being pretty and being stylish go hand by hand. I've since a lot of really pretty people that, just because of what they wear and how they look, they don't look pretty. i don't think it's possible to separate those two things. If you have a good style, and you are naturally pretty, you have nothing to worry about.

I think both of them,Gals or woman is a creature who must to keep their beauty, that is the first point, and she needs also to be stylish,to follow the trend. Why is so important? If you are pretty and stylish, and people admire you,who will be happy?you, your boyfriend/husband,family,friends,etc.If you do not want to be pretty or stylish, you only want the conservative style, then how many people who will admire you, except oprah hohohoh

Style is more important than taste, it demonstrates imagination and individuality, but 'Pretty'-"Pretty is as pretty does.", sounds simple-au contraire, mon ami, to be pretty, you can't be vain or it's an oxymoron. Style is superficial & contrived and gone with the make-up, but true beauty is natural and timeless. it's Darwin, 'pretty' is nature's design to attract a mate to perpetuate, but 'style, comes and goes and may achieve the same purpose until the style/fad changes. Imagine a nude woman standing in a field of sunflowers in the summer, her torso is as attractive to a male as the flowers are to the bees. So, beauty trumps style. Fini.

not that either are more important than your heart, but I'll answer anyway. ;)

I think a little of both is important. You should care enough about yourself to want to look nice, but not be so caught up with fashion that you don't have your own unique style that is all "you," but being pretty is also kind of important, because you want to feel femminem sometimes, ya know?

If I was ugly I'd prefer stylish. If I was stylish, I'd probably preffer pretty.

I'm going to choose "Pretty". You can get away with more.

In this world being pretty is most important. You can easily change your style but you can't easily change the way you look.

What's wrong with just being yourself? Seems like everything else would just fall into place when a female finds her niche, accepts herself for who she is, and is happy and comfortable with that.
