Any religious views used in policy decisions is not just poor decision making - but a bit crazy too.

The United States of America still has the freedom to worship. What does religion have to do the Bush? I have no idea what religion he is, but he is certainly not portraying a Christian belief. It would be great if we had someone heading our country who had real Christian values - you know, like Jesus requested us to act like. Whether your religious beliefs are Protestant, Catholic, Hindu, Muslim, etc., it doesn't matter because all religions teach love. It's not up to us to question or tell another person how to believe. It is their choice in our still free country. That Bush throws the word Christian around without meaning is something he needs to answer to his God for. Christians shouldn't be judged by his actions. Have you taken a look at voter support lately? Christians continue to pray that he will stop thinking about his pocket book and bring our soldiers home. Do you know that the death toll is now up to around 3600 US soldiers who have died under the present ruler in our country? I don't know how he can sleep at night knowing that his decision has cost so many lives. Just look what greed has done.

The following speaks for itself:

"I feel like God wants me to run for President. I can't explain it, but I sense my country is going to need me. Something is going to happen... I know it won't be easy on me or my family, but God wants me to do it."
--George W. Bush commenting to Texas evangelist James Robinson in the run-up to his presidential campaign

"God told me to strike at al Qaeda and I struck them, and then he instructed me to strike at Saddam [Hussein], which I did, and now I am determined to solve the problem in the Middle East. If you help me I will act, and if not, the elections will come and I will have to focus on them."
--Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Abu Mazen quoting Bush when they met in Aqaba; reported in The Haaretz Reporter by Arnon Regular

"I don't think that witchcraft is a religion. I wish the military would rethink this decision." - to ABC NEWS, June 1999, regarding Ft. Hood's decision to allow Wiccan rituals

I think people attack me because they are fearful that I will then say that you're not equally as patriotic if you're not a religious person. ... I've never said that. I've never acted like that. I think that's just the way it is. (Washington Times, 12 January 2005)

I trust God speaks through me. Without that, I couldn't do my job.

No. You don't realize that the president doesn't have as much power as the media makes him out to. President Bush makes just decisions based on several factors. Personal beliefs affect this slightly. We need religion though. In 200 years, the US has become the greatest country in the world. We have overcome disasters, financial problems and horrors that would otherwise be considered impossible without God. I'm not necessarily saying that we must all believe in God, but simply that everyone needs a God, someone that they rely on and look to for faith. The Democrats are against just that.
