I am a fourteen year old who for a social studies assignment is making a mock fashion magazine for girls. For a fashion forecast segment I am doing I am asking people in the know what they think will be some big trends in fashion this summer. If you could tell me in a few sentences what you think I would be so grateful.

Things with lots of volumn. Bubble skirts, big sleeves, etc.

If I was to pick a colour for the 2006/7 summer season it would have to be yellow, we’ll be seeing this sunny shade everywhere this year. The nautical look is still going strong too, as are polka dots. Hugely popular will be the floral print – the bigger the print the better. The tulip skirt is also still doing the rounds for summer. Wedges are the shoe of the season – the higher the better. I hope this helps! Good luck with the assignment.

Look up some fashion magazines online and use quotes from actual designers. Be sure to quote them don't just take what they say

hrm.. well i think sophistocated is in, skanky is out.. so pretty much anything that says sexy but not tarty, this would meen dresses tight but down to knees.. i also agee with below.. yellow is in =)
