YES! I remember the day John Lennon was killed! It was so tragic! I remember me and my dad were in shock! I asked my dad why someone would do something so awful and his response was "He is an *sshole!"(The guy who killed John). It was indeed a terrible tragedy! Also, I often get a little teary over Jim Morrison, as he is one of my top favorites! I was only a baby when he died though. I remember when Robert Palmer died, also sad! And, although not a musician, I really took it hard when River Phoenix died! He was talented and a hottie!

Yes. . . .
JOHN LENNON.....
Even now, having the 8th of the month, any month, but espec-ially December, fall on a Monday, as it has, is still a very pain-ful reminder...as if I needed any reminder....I don't....and this year will mark 27 years since John was taken from this world,
and I was actually just thinking, even tonight, as I do so often, what John would - and could - be doing if he was with us still...
and how he would be turning 67 this year....October 9th....but he will ALWAYS be alive in my heart....and no one, not even mark chapman, can ever take John from my heart....any more than they can take away all of the wonderful music and mem-ories that I am so very fortunate to have IN MY LIFE.....and I
can't even IMAGINE living my life without John being such a major part of it...even when it meant going through the horrible
of losing him through such an insane act of violence by a nut-case with a gun....I know my life would have been so very diff-erent if I had never known about the Beatles or if they had nev-er ventured beyond the Liverpool area...but John was the one
who paid the price for it all....=(

Though I was only 12, I balled like a baby when Waylon Jennings died. It was as if I had lost a close and personal friend.
Though I wasn't alive when people like Lennon, Hendrix, Morrison, Joplin, and Bonzo died I still get a little teary thinking about it....and I just know that I'll feel lost when someone like Bob Dylan or one of the Stones are gone :-(

Yes, and I still do... I just learned that the lead singer of Boston died very recently... it made me sad to hear this, I loved their music! I also cried when Karen Carpenter died, she was so beautiful and talented... but so very sick...it's sad!

I cried when Cliff Burton from Metallica died.
I cried when Frank Sinatra died.
What a contrast, huh?!
