You can wear it with a couple of adjustments. When you line your eyes don’t line all the way around them, try just lining the inner rims instead of the upper lash line too. Don’t draw the liner all the way across or it will make your eyes look smaller. Draw it along stopping about three quarters of the way to the corner of your eye (nearest to your nose). For the upper lash line use a little dark eyeshadow along the line and smudge it for a softer effect. For this either get yourself an eyeliner brush to moisten and dip into your eyeshadow or try a cotton bud. Then use lots of mascara to widen your eyes. To warm up your skin, always wear blush with this look, it really brings out cheekbones and makes you glow – but remember you want a soft radiance not a stripe of obvious colour, or you may like to try a cheek stain. Check out some of the new The Body Shop make-up from this week’s teen feature. For lips go for a pretty pale pink shade not a white pearly shade. I think you’ll look stunning!

if black is too dark, try a dark brown, or my favorite, a slightly plum eyeliner (not purple, but something like prunella from m.a.c.).
line the top lid, not too thickly, a tiny bit past the end, so you will get the chic cat-eye look without looking like an ancient egyptian.
go light on the eyeliner on the lower lid or inside of the bottom lid. just line where your eyelashes start, lightly.
use mascara, so you look pretty, not morbid.
as for the pinky nude lips, i love that look, but to look a little more glam than goth, try a nude lipgloss instead of a flat lipstick color. if you have a forever 21 in your area, they sell very cheap (something like $3) and great nude lipgloss. if it doesn't look good (although it will ;)), you haven't wasted a bunch of money.
for best results, ask a makeup artist at your local beauty counter (at macy's, nordstrom's, bloomingdale's, etc...) to show you, and work from there.
my best advice would be to play around with your look until you are satisfied.

Try lining the inside of the eyes. Then line only the top lid and smudge. Top it off with a slightly shimmery shadow, and it should remove the goth look. Also, make sure that if you're going with dark eyes and nude lips, you add some color to your cheeks with a peachy or pink blush.

if you want to rim around your eyes with black eyeliner...use a pencil first of all. no liquids. with the pencil...you can rim the bottom lid, above the lashes. On the top lid, line the eye starting from the center and stopping right where your lashes start! Complete everything with mascara and youll have a thin lined look.
but you say you have small eyes. so id skip out on putting liner and mascara on the bottom lid. its a great look for daytime and you wont look tired. =p
hope this helps.

enable's see... gothic. nicely one element is actual approximately all clique fashions, you may dress that variety, have the furniture, the smashed up guitar, the vehicle (rap/hip-hop), yet human beings will hate you in case you do not communicate it. Dressing devoid of speaking = poser, fake, loser, wannabe, etc. So purely as a final ditch till now you hop over the part, why spend the attempt and time for some thing which will truly purely final a 300 and sixty 5 days or 2 (if that!). Now that that's out of ways... dressing gothic jointly as saving funds will in all risk be complicated. In extreme college I switched around mod, punk, and indie. besides the shown fact that, i assume you would be able to desire to by no skill pass incorrect with spray paint on those black t-shirts. what style of song do goths hear to? business? So spray-paint or seek for low-cost outfits related to your in demand bands... (ex. Jack Off Jill, mindless Self Indulgence, And One, etc.). there is the lipstick, the attention makeup, the finger nail paint (all black, of direction); returned I evaluate this variety too lots attempt. keep your self funds, pass to a thrift keep and declare your self a "punk". My in demand clothing in extreme college grew to become into ripped out of the movie "SLC Punk". I had a torn up hoodie, purposely ripped open down the midsection, with "F*CK YOU!" spray painted in the time of it.

Let your liking take a backseat. Like anything in cosmetics, if it does not add value (or more importantly if it diminishes the purpose for which you use it) DEFER FROM USING IT. Be natural. By the way, looking Gothic may be an attraction to some!

Why avoid it? Goths are sexy as hell.
But if you don't like that look, then go with the look you described and long bangs. You won't look as much a goth as an early 60s rocker girl. An op-art mini-dress and plastic bangles will make you look like Marianne Faithful.
Now go and find your own modern Mick Jagger and make yourself notorious in all the tabloids!
