Every where I go, they are sold out of them at the retail price of $249. at Target and GameStop. I refuse to pay $400+ for one.
It seems rediculous since it been 4 months since they were released. You would think Nintendo would be speeding up the assembly line.

I work at Best Buy and they only seem to send us like 4 every few weeks. We were told that Nintendo is doing it on porpose to keep people talking and raving about them. Its worth the wait! Wii's are sweet machines

TONS of speculation from alot of different angles. Alot of the gaming magazines have looked into this and they've all determined its a simple process of HIGH demand and a facility that is just not capable of keeping up with the demand, Remember Nintendo hasn't had an IN-demand system for a while and they're manufacturing capabilites just weren't up to snuff when they started building these things and with the massive slew of everyone and anyone who's GOTTA have one they haven't been able to catch up let alone keep up.

Wiis are hard to get at 249 because it is better for everyone involved that you buy a bundle pack with games, that way you aren't only playing the sports games that come with it.

that is going to likely be difficult to get, so wait atleast a stable 2 weeks, yet once you could no longer wait that long, bypass to any save and pre-order one, or order one on line with a present card from the save, and you should get a Wii slot interior the mail whilst there is one available so which you do no longer ought to watch for one available.

They are releasing them slow, just like the PS3 to keep the price up. You watch, when the price drops, you will be able to find them everywhere. Then, to make money, they will have to sell more and the only way is to drop the price. It's all a scam.
