The reason why Cena/Mysterio are pushed hard

WWE's concern over their PPV business comes at a time when their house show numbers are way up on recent years. That has been largely attributed to the presence of John Cena and Mysterio and how they are drawing in a new generation of kids to the product. The drawback is that while parents might be convinced to take their children to a live event to see these superstars, or even to purchase their DVDs or T-shirts, they are far less likely to agree to spend $40 on a PPV when Cena or Mysterio could be seen on TV for free at least once a week. Whether this pays off in the long-run when younger fans become old enough to purchase PPVs themselves remains to be seen, as by then the entire landscape of WWE's product could have changed drastically.
What Do You Think?

Every one wants to root for an underdog like Mysterio. The problem with most PPVs not just wrestling is that they are too expensive. I think as younger fans become older more of them go out to restraunts and bars or go in with friends to buy PPVs. In order for WWE to have very strong PPVs again, They will need some very inovate supperstars. Also when they first started having PPV there were only about 5 a year. I think that $40 or $50 is too expensive for most people to pay every month.

The thing is that they need to hurry up and establish the fairly fresh faces before the veterans leave. John Cena is still fairly new to the game and as his name is being imprinted on the youth as the new rock and s.austin they setting the foundations for a new era. With Mysterio, he is being given a chance to really showcase himself unlike any other of his roles in the company prior. WWE is definitely trying to change with the times and by the looks of it, they're reading into it's target audience pretty well.

I totally have to agree with this. I was at one of the Smackdown! shows in Ontario and the girl was stripping right in front of little kids, adults and youths and myself. I think that WWE should ban the use of disgusting speedo's that people think are great. It gives me the shivers just thinking about it....ewww. I think that little kid under the age of 15 should be banned from WWE live events. Oh and they like to scratch their crotches....it is proven they do that!!

Remember the X-rated episode when Edge and Lita were in bed???? Now tell me if that is for younger children and youths?????
