have at least one black ancestor? also blacks have white ancestors to so why hate each other because of race when if you trace down your family tree you might find that you have a black or a white ancestor because of all the rapeing that was taking place during slavery.

We are not born racists....no one is born with hate and bigotry in their heart. It is learned from family, friends, and life. Each one of us can change things if we don't teach our children to hate one another. If we teach our children to accept the differences in appearance, faith, traditions and opinions that we all have our world will change one house at a time. Compassion, tolerance, Independence and common sense are the key stones to eliminating racism in not only the US but the world. One home at a time is all it takes. Treating others as you would be treated...judge not least ye be judged....simple, classic words to live a good life by.
Just one note...White & black are colors not races. We are all people nothing more, nothing less.

It isn't where you are from it's where you are at now, and besides I am sure there was lots of consensual interracial sex back then too it wasn't all rape so quit trying to make all of us whites out to be the bad guy. Also how about all the racism coming from blacks, how many of them have some white in them? Just curious where you found that statistic.

Racism was born out of slavery practiced in southern parts of US in the 18th and 19th centuries and is a state of mind. Unless and untill this mindset is improved upon by magnanimity, universality and humanity, it will persist.

Good point but racism, bigotry, and prejudice, not to mention fear and hatred are illogical to begin with.

It doesn't really make any sense anyway but I agree if you go back far enough we may all have some surprising relatives.
