we're trying to have a baby but he wants a physical first (not only understandlable but great) and a sperm count... thre problem is... who do i call and what do i ask for??? i've never done this before... i don't know where to bgin

have your b/f/ husband go to an urologist and he can rearrange for the semen analysis to be done, and he can also get his physical done there as well. good luck.

I dont really see why you would need to waste money on a sperm count unless you have been trying unsuccessfully for like 6 months or more (depends on your age). A physical for you is a good idea tho, just call the clinic and tell them you are ready to try to conceive. They will get you to the right care.

just make an appointment with your regular doctor and tell him you guys are trying to have a baby and you would like to do a physical and would like to have a sperm count done.I am sure he will be happy to help you.Good luck.

ask your gp. also get him to have tests first, as all he has to do is provide a 'sample' but women have to have a number of invasive tests. but most drs won't do any tests unless you've been trying for atleast a year. good luck.
