Yes, I had experience before during my first pregnancy.

Ovarian cysts is a fluid-filled sac....is very common. Some woman do have the cysts and didn't notice till or when they are pregnant. And some woman accidentally 'implant' it during pregnancy. If happen during pregnancy, usually the cysts will be disappear or become smaller coming toward during 4th - 5th month pregnancy .

For my case, I only realize during my first check-up. Total I had 5 cysts with me. Till 5th month pregnancy, my cysts didn't disappear but growth up to 5cm diameter. My Doctor said if cysts is over 4cm large, it will be a threaten to you and to your baby. Cause the space limited inside the womb due to growth of baby; the cysts might burst and the 'poison' fluid will be leak.

I only had 2 option given either do nothing or go for an operation. If I let the natural take place it seem like carrying a time bomb with me. And If I go the operation, at least I know I had done my best to save my baby. So I went for the operation during my 5th month pregnancy. I'm so stress and full of worries. Cause during the operation, I might miscarriage or death due to infection and others reason. Even after the operation, the worries never released till my baby is naturally born healthily.

If you had diagnose that you had an ovarian cysts before getting pregnant, I would strongly suggest you cure the cysts first or wait till it disappear.

By the way, you still can get pregnant and have the cysts.

Good news and bad news, my sister has poly cystic ovarian syndrome, and she is now pregnant with her 2nd child :)

Bad news - it took her 3 years to get pregnant with her first (and being on fertility drugs) and 1 1/2 years with her second and being on fertility drugs.

Best wishes!
