Any time my dad doesn't have things go his way, he stomps around the house like a 5-year-old. And refuses to talk to anyone. He also expects everyone to know exactly what he wants and when he wants it. He has OCD so I guess it's not his fault but STILL! Anyone else have this problem?

Well my parents don't have OCD, but I totally know what it is like to be more mature than my parents. This is something very hard on me because of course, I would like my parents to be my parents, but have to deal with the fact that they aren't as mature as they would like to think they are. You might be more advanced than your parents, and have to deal with their shortcomings. It happens sometimes.

I have OCD. Acting immaturely isn't a symptom of OCD. Dad probably always got his way when he was a kid, and now it's habit.

Only with my kids and I find that if I ignore the behavior and they know it isn't getting them anywhere then it stops. If he's truly acting like a 5 yr old then do that, treat him as you would a 5 yr old and ignore the behavior and see if it stops. Good luck!

My dad is like that too! If he acts like a 5 year old, I treat him like a 5 year old.

I don't have the problem, but if he wants to act a five year old, put him over your knee and spank him, or use a wooden paddle.

Durring his fit, give him a brochure on anger management....
Before you do this, make sure you have another place to stay for a few days although

Depends what kind of relationship you have with him. You could call him on it, if you two converse well, or you can ignore it. Parents have fits sometimes too.

He's only human. And he doesn't always know how to act. He's probably learning as he goes just like the rest of us.
