The Spanish language will be dominated in the North America soon. It is already acknowledged that the population of South America already overwhelms as both illegal and legal immigrants migrate across the border and bear 2nd generation to fill up the large quantity of pie chart of United States population. It is only matter of time until Spanish language become dominant or equally valuable as English. However, I won't be surprised if Spanish become international language.

Tania is right, and yes, eventually spanish will become a predominant language due to the increase of hispanic population in the U.S. I believe that as long as there's no official language set in the U.S. you're going to have to adapt to your region and to any country you travel. It's common sense. Educate and illustrate yourself a little more, will do you some good.

well Spanish is becoming dominant, but,,,, I feel that the immigrants should learn English, because we speak English in the us...

when my grandfather came to the us he had to learn English... he came from Denmark...

other counties teach English.. so I feel that English will be more dominant that Spanish ...

why should Americans adapt to others who come from other countries.. When we go and visit other countries we have to know their language.. right...

it is already. well, at restaurants, and construction sites it is.
basically, anywhere where there are jobs that Americans used to do, now there are Latinos there, and they rarely speak English.
