animal fighting?

I can't believe that people actually think that animal fights actually happen. I mean there isn't even video evidence or anything factual to back up this crazy theory. Leopards fighting hyenas, and lions fighting tigers? who would allow such a thing?

really! wow! I had no idea! that's terrible!
but still, no factual records or video evidence! I still can't believe this happens....

I can testify to animal fighting being a very real occurrences. You'd be amazed at the cross section of people who participate in these events. Although illegal in most places, but not all, Cock fighting has many styles and lots of clandestine gambling, drinking and other under the table activities take place. Dog fighting is more hush hush and lots more gruesome. Historically, bulls and bears were pitted together until the death. The English bulldog was bred to fight bulls by clamping there strong jaws down on a bulls nose and not letting go until one quit fighting. All of these events are and were strictly for the entertainment of the gambling crowds. Kind of like Romans feeding Christians to the lions. All real deals!!

In the animal world every animal knows its place and therefore inter-species rivalry is not very common..... But it is untrue to believe that animals don't fight each other.... Each animal occupies a certain niche in the ecosystem... thus even if there are clashes they are very short.
Consider this....
It has been filmed on video a troop of chimps actively attacking a troop of monkeys and killing almost every member of the monkey troop....

There are videos about lions warding off hyenas who keep disturbing them for the left overs....

Footage of lions killing cheetah cubs but not eating them....

You may have seen for yourself the Eagles being chased by a group of crows....

thus most of the time the fight is about preempting attacks or just for food....and sometimes territorial....if they fall into the same niche in the food chain..... It is definitely not absurd to think of inter-specific fights

In the real world animals of different species do occasionally fight. There is excellent video of male lions fighting hyenas. Watch the interaction of the different species of birds at a bird feeder.

But all these questions posing one species of animal against another are just someones way of making points. It's pretty lame.

i watched a few lion vs tigers video one. all you have to do is go to youtube.com an type in lion vs tiger. i was suprised to see a lion never won over a tiger

Are you talking about animal fights that are staged, like cock fights or dog fights? I know that you don't really believe that those kinds of fights don't happen. People are busted for those kinds of fights all the time.
