apparently when you do abnormal things on a regular basis, they become acceptable and the norm... by the time authorities take action against idiotic acts, it's too late because such behaviours are so ingrained deeply.

any rightminded supporter should be ashamed of this.

I know it's hard to believe, but throwing celery is a tradition at the bridge. It's what true Chelsea fans do (just ask Fabregas after the carling cup final.)

But honestly if you are going to ban celery then why not make sure fans don't have glass or flares. I mean what harm is a 1 oz vegetable going to do to a person. Granted fans can't really reach a player unless they are going for a throw-in or corner kick.

So no, following tradition is not wrong. It's tradition. And it's not like we are going to hurt anyone with it. I think I can speak for all Chelse fans when I say we just want to have our fun.
