I see that you already got your answer, but I feel the need to give insight on a female Cancer and male Gemini relationship. It's hard, this is coming from 3 years and going experience (my boyfriend is a Gemini and I am a Cancer). He tends to say things that to me, seem very hurtful. But I know he doesn't do it on purpose, nor does any Gemini. I need structure and reassurance, a lot. That's one of the biggest flaws a Cancer has. A Gemini's mood swings are the hardest thing to handle for a Cancerian. But I think that if you work to make sure that you are as caring and compassionate to your Cancer as she is to you, and she learns that a hug to her is the same as words to you, you'll be able to make it work.
