I have purchased a downloadable game online when I realized it is not the game I was looking for. But I have not downloaded that game. Is there anyway I can return that game and have my money back?

It really depends on the game, the site and the people who you purchashed the game from.

I've actually returned a few games that I've purchased online because they weren't what I was hoping for. As long as you're polite, calm and explain things clearly I've found that companies are very nice and understanding. I've asked for a few refunds on downloadable games for various reasons and I've yet to have anyone say no to me but it does depend on certain things.

The site you downloaded the game from will have an email address or other method of contacting those in charge. Make sure you find the right person to contact and then send them an email and explain your situation.

Good luck.

well like it was said before it wont be easy. the first thing to do is to contact the seller by email and tell them what happened. remember to state clearly that the game was not what you wanted and what you asked for. try to be clear and concise about what you want so they can understand. you might even include what you were actually looking for.

If you somehow can, it will be hard to, but most likely you can't get a refund for a downloaded game.
