Darren McCarty (when flying for the Wings) has always been my favorite fighter. Especially when he went to town on that SOB Lemieux.
Colton Orr probably gets my vote for current fav though. Todd Fedoruk is a good fighter and 21 seconds is a short time for a knock out, NHL or UFC.

This is more complicated of a question than you realize especially if you put Mark Bell in the equation. I too think that Mark Bell is a good fighter however if he were to be put up against the heavies that some of these other guys are mentioning, he would get destroyed as they aren't in the same weight class. The guy who's orbital bone he broke is Jon Sim who has had 9 fighting majors in his whole career against Bell who had 9 fighting majors this season. So I'm not sure if that fight is one he is going to rank as his best fight ever.
The guy that I believe can kick anyone's *** is Georges Laraque, however in the new NHL he is having problems finding dance partners nowadays.

Larauque would have to be my pick. I am from Detroit, so I never get to see any real fights, well at least not in Hockey, but thats another story. All time best, Ya know I am going with the bruise brothers, Probert and Kocur. Personal problems aside, they beatdown anyone that thought they were tough. If you beat them once, enjoy it, because the second time around, your gonna be hurtin. Ogie Ogelthorpe ROCKS, but dont forget Dean Youngblood, and what he did to Rackie.

Georges is the second best fighter on the pens.
He never gets a chance to dance, as opposed to Gary Roberts who has dropped the mitts several times, and each time his 40yo butt beat the living snot out of his victim.

Georges Laraque is the best figher in the NHL right now. He's a brick wall and he's quick with his hands. He just fought Donald Brashear tonight and pretty much owned him. I'm so glad he plays for the Penguins now...
Let's Go Pens!!!

Derek Boogard of the Minnesota Wild is a good fighter.
He actually takes off his gloves and punches the guy right in the face.
