Kaspersky and Windows Defender give you full time virus and spyware protection.
Install the following five programs and run weekly or at least monthly. You need all five. They are not a substitute for full time spyware and virus protection. They will greatly improve your protection.
Ad-Aware SE Personal (update + full scan)

Spybot Search & Destroy (update + immunize + scan)
Do not enable Tea Timer and SDHelper
After installation: update + scan + immunize

SpywareBlaster: Update then open and click “enable all protection”.

SUPERAntiSpyware free version: (update + scan)

CCleaner: Do not install toolbar and recycle bin options
Set to run when computer starts.

Note if a scan detects a problem but is unable to remove, start the computer in safe mode with the internet line disconnected and run a full scan. In some cases you may need to turn off system restore.

Defender is an anti-spyware, a fairly mediocre one at that. However tests from the very respected A-V Comparatives:
http://www.av-comparatives.org/
have shown that your KAV anti-virus alone can detect 96% of the spyware they tested for.
Some KAV users have stopped using a dedicated anti-spyware app all together! It's that good.
So your KAV / Defender combo should give you plenty of malware protection.
Good luck.

Sounds to me that you're doing okay. The only other thing I'd recommend downloading and using is a program called "Advanced Windows Care Personal". It's at the below link, and is free. Just click on the "Get Freebie" button there.

You've got a pretty good setup already. The only additions I'd make are Ad Aware SE and CCleaner (don't install the toolbar option) and run both weekly.

Go get other anti malwares...
I suggest use AVGFree cause it gives updates for free and team it up with SpyBotS&D and Ad-Aware that would be the best security you'll get...
