do you just pick the first answer you see or do you actually read some of the answers then pick one?
When I go through them, it seems like the first answer is getting the vote, even if it doesnt seem like a great answer. (my opinion)

I don't exactly read through EVERYTHING (I mean, there are some quite long answers out there for even the simplest of questions), but I skim through all the answers and the one that seems to answer the question best will receive my vote.

When picking from a question that I asked,I do read through them,and pick the one that helped me out or gave me what I was looking for!!As far as when voting I usually skim through them,or if there are alot I'll pick the first one that I agree w/,which usually isn't the very first,cause the first few answers are usually simple and not so great!!

What's the point of voting if you're just going to vote for the first one and not read the rest? If I'm going to vote I'm going to read all the replies otherwise I'd go on and keep answering questions.

I've noticed that, too. I think people vote to receive the one point, and the easiest one to pick is the first one.
Personally, I read them all to pick the best answer, if there is a best answer.

I've only voted for Best Answers like three times...and I read through them and choose the one I think is the best......I thought that was the whole point??

I go through them. Unless there's like 50 answers then I just read about 10 of them.

The answers are meaningful and educational on the serious ones. I just read them all and pick the best one.

I don't vote anymore. I did before I reached level five, and I would read a few until I found one I liked.
