If me i'll definitely choose an ipod. Because it carries alot of music...
But in terms of sound qualities, CDs are still the best.. Because music which have been converted from an audio CD into MP3 format will cost data lost, once there is a data lost, some of the sounds are lost too, it's like down grading the sound clarity.. But usually we don notice that.. Only those experts on this stuff can tell the difference...

It depends on what you want to use it for. However, overall I would say an ipod. It will hold a lot more music, its smaller and you can run/jog with it and not worry about it skipping. However, if you just frequently listen to the same artist/cd over and over and don't plan on moving around much while using it--you may consider just buying a cd player. They are much cheaper.

Ipod cuz u can hold more songs and its wayyyyyyyyyyyy better it smaller more music u dont have to buy batteries for it comeon its way better

iPod... because it doesnt break as fast.. you dont have all those c-d's to lug around.. Ipod is smaller and portabler and it holds songs into it.. also you can buy speakers for it so you dont need headphones to here the music.
