Can someone please tell me about the contributions of Sher Shah Suri in the Subcontinent?

i think he was the one who introduced an elaborate postal system for the first time in India. And also i guess introduce the Indian currency which is today called Rupaya.
he is best known for that. Dont know much about his other contibutions.
