What a loaded question. What is a democrat? Read the following:
AN AMERICAN DEMOCRAT: You have two cows. Your neighbor has none. You feel guilty for being successful. You vote people into office who tax your cows, forcing you to sell one to raise money to pay the tax. The people you voted for then take the tax money and buy a cow and give it to your neighbor. You feel righteous.
Those who give a thumbs down to this response must be democrats.

Someone who registers that way.
I am but no longer relate to the party the way it is now.
When I left the Army and registered in 1987 it was different.
I remain registered this way to support and work for a few persons who I do believe in in basically a local way but rarely vote for anyone with a D designation beyond the state legislative level.
