Could White males marry Blacks females slaves back then? Could Black men slaves marry white women back then?

If not how could they have mixed? Also in most cases aren't the slaves males? Since they would have been more productive in the field? So how could white and blacks be mixed back then. Then again there was all of the prejudice. How would the couples work out?

Okay if whites back then considered blacks lower than themselves why would they rape them? If they thought they were so savage why would they involve themselves to be in romantic affairs?

RAPE! white slave owners would rape their back women slaves. They had women slaves to do the "women's work"; cook, clean, sew, nurse and raise their children.
Some of the children that resulted from the rapes were either treated as slaves, taken from their slave mother and raised as the slave owner and his wife's child or if they "passed" as white were brought up in the slave owners home as a cousin or something.

It has always been this way. One people invades another peoples area, and then the men are killed or shipped off to distant lands to fight for their new rulers and the woman are subjected to the will of the victorious Army.
In the South back before the Civil War, the Blacks were subjected to family disillusionment and cultural destruction. The woman were separated from the older children, the men from their wives, and relatives from relatives and tribal members from their fellow tribesmen to break down any group relationship that might cause troubles.
Then the more healthy and skillful house-workers and laborers were separated from the regular field-hands.
The household workers and laborers were in a different class than the field-hands. They were kept separate from each other by force.
And to answer your question directly, the master and elder sons would pick young ladies or kids to have as bedroom slaves. Some of the bedroom slaves overtime became trusted and loved for their skills and affection. Children were born and became part of the house servants and service provides. And so on.
The Blacks were owned legally by the Whites, so the Blacks had no recourse or justice or even fairness. So the Whites could and did do as they pleased with the the servants.
At this point in history, most of the Blacks have white ancestors and it is a fact, because the Whites and Black have been inner breeding for as long as they have lived together. Many of the whites now have Black blood in them also.
Humans are like that.
The Mongols invading and took over China and ruled it. They never left. And they are all Chinese now.
Human just love each other and babies happen.

There were laws against people of different races marrying, even up until the 1950s in most states. It is a widely known fact by historians that white slave owners raped their black female slaves. Also I just learned in a seminar the other day that it was a common practice that young white males lose their virginity to a black slave - a marry a virgin white women. At the time of the "cult of true womanhood" white women were to be used as reproduction of the race while black women were seen as sex objects to control. In the first 25 years or so (1600s) most slaves were males but in the 18th and 19th centuries it was equal. Both males and females (pregnant, nursing etc) work just as hard in the fields.

There are so many different shades of black today because of the widespread rape of black slaves - it was considered commonplace but not talked about. In many cases the master would sell his "black children" off as soon as they were born so there would not be suspicion / slave children walking around with his features.

If whites + blacks + indians were found to be in a relationship in the north during the time the northern blacks were free, the black was sold to the south into slavery and the white person jailed and ridiculed.

You have a lot of great questions & should think about taking some courses in africanamerican or american studies.

No. They never got married if they had tried, then I'm sure they would have been murdered. And the white slave owners would rape the black women and they would become pregnant. So this wasn't a love affair. Well, maybe some could have been involved that way. But it was behind closed doors, because they knew better. And I also don't understand why they had sex with blacks if they felt they were so beneath them.

They did not marry the white men raped the black women. They could not marry and the white men didn't want to marry the black women they only wanted them for sex because they pu**y was better than white womans but they never wanted to marry a black woman because they just looked at the women as objects and plus it wasn't acceptable in society to marry a black woman. Black men couldn't marry white women. They couldn't even look twice at a white woman without getting killed. They mixed because the black women were raped by the white men. There were as many males slaves as female slaves. People were born into slavery regardless of their gender. There were no mixed couples just white men raping black women who could not protest against it because they were slaves.

I believe that generally blacks could not marry whites, though I'm sure in some places it happened. Even if you look at the US in the 50s it was looked down upon and generally stopped if you dated someone from another race.
Slaves were both male and females, most likely a plantation owner would have families of slaves.
About how whites and blacks mixed look into Thomas Jefferson's less than ethic activities with his slaves, it's a good example.
Hope that answers some of your questions.

Okay think about this many women slaves worked in the house ,,nursed (owners) babies .Some of those (owners) would rape those women . Some black slave women got pregnant result from the rape or the sex and had babies ,i don't know if they had abortions back then but i know some of those slave owners wives didn't like their husband not only engaging in sexual activities with the slave women but for them to have children ,some would convince their husband to sell the mixe babies off sometimes those mix babies would stay and become their half brothers and sisters little play slaves
You must understand a slave or slaves weren't considered people more like pets but with the same organs as whites another type and way to tottally control someone is to rape them or make them submit to you in all ways including sexually
Some teenage white women grew up with some slave men probably fell in love but marriage wasn't common and when they had babies and the kid came out mixed the black father would get linched (form of corporal punishment for slaves )or sold to another farm or even killed

Some married white women just wanted a stallion in the bed in their husband wasn't it so they seek love ,affection and sexual release from their male slaves behind their husband back you can imagine what happen to those man slaves

Marriage wasn't common between black and whites during slavery for obvious reasons , but some did get marrried some where free black people (not all blacks were slaves during that time ) married white ,some slave women married their owners or were side mistress with their babies and treated fiarly i guess ! ,ever heard of Thomas Jefferson
If you truly want to know more about this matter pick up this novel it;s called The controuversy in the life of a slave woman by harrriett thubman it's an slave autobiography she explain in details what it was like being a salve back then
I do understand your question ithink If slaves weren't considered people how could they be sexual beeings ?
Good point but i think those peole knew what they were doing they just didn't care and as i stated earlier it was all about control, mind body , spirit , soul and to degrade in dehumanize those slaves What better way to rape them ,use them for sexual gratification and so on
Hope you can understand me i know i mispelled a few words lol

Male plantation owners had sex with their prettier female slaves all the time. There were alot of female slaves-for cooking and caring for the children, etc. I don't think white women marrying black men was nearly as common, though. Even at slavery's worst point, there were some white people who knew slavery was wrong and who weren't racist, so they probably did actually fall in love with a black person and marry them. There was plenty of land back then, so they could just move away from people.

No but the male slave owners definetely took it upon themselves to rape the female slaves. And most of the slaves were not men. Slaves were bred like animals to produce more slaves.

It has also been said that Thomas Jefferson fathered the children of his slave Sally Hemings.
