The Euro is the European equivalent to the dollar. Just as the Pound is the British equivalent, the Peso is the Mexican equivalent, etc. The dollar is worth about .75 or 75 cents compared to the Euro. In other words, 100 dollars will get you about 75 Euros.

most parts of europe uses the euro, so that means the the difference is by 20%. euros are 20% more expensive the u.s dollar. for example, if you take $1200, when you get that exchanged, you will probably get between $900-$1000 back. have fun in europe!
