Environmental issues will always be a function of the number of humans who care vs the number of humans who don't care.

The if the number of humans who care are in power, then care will be on the forefront.

The problem is that the way money works is versus the way the environment works.

Economies today only operate on the idea of infinite growth. How many people believe that this won't one day hit the wall of a finite planet? Too many apparently.

Since the only purpose of the current economy is to accumulate fiat wealth, and since the people in power control said economy, we can say the relative power of of busineses over the "social interaction of humans" is about 1000 to 1.

For instance, we are heading towards a trinity of desperate times: peak oil, economic collapse, and climate collapse, and what is happening that matters?...
