How about trying to wake up earlier in the morning by about 2 hours, then by the time 10 rolls around you may be really tired and can sleep. Try to get your self on some kind of a routine. I would say that 10 would be good on a week night. Everyone function better when we get the proper rest our body's need.

I'd say at the latest, 10:00 p.m.
If you're anything like my child, you probably wait until the very last possible second to drag yourself out of bed and start your day. That makes the whole day start off with tension in the air and who wants that? Late late late!
We were all teens once ourselves too and I'm sure that many of us wish we could go back and change some of the things we did. I know I used to give my mom so much crap about getting up in the morning...not so much about going to sleep at night, I'd pretty much stayed in my room from dark until dawn, watching TV or listening to music, talking to my friends on the phone.
My biggest problem with my child is, they want to do EVERYthing....no matter what....and theres just not enough hours in the day. They want to talk to their friends all day long, be on the computer all day long, play sports all day long, play with the cats all day long......AND......sleep all day long....well thats just not possible. We all have to make compromises in life!!!!
Sorry for the rant :)...I feel much better, thank you!
Now....GO TO BED....its almost midnight!

I'm 13 and I go to sleep around 10 to 10:30 pm on weekdays.11:50 pm on weekends.I think those are reasonable times for 13 year-olds to go to bed.

If you do your home work and your chores I would say your responsible so stay up as late as you feel like it because you know the consequences of over sleeping or not getting enough and going to school. So just be responsible and go to sleep when you know you will get enough and get everything done.

When I was 13, I went to bed around midnight.
I'm 15 now, & I don't sleep more than 2 hours a night. But I'm a weird sleeper haha.
I'd say 10 - 12 is good on school nights.

Oh, so you must be 13, too, right? Really, it's a big psychological thingy going on here. Me personally, I go to bed now at around midnight, and get up at six in the morning--sleeping on the bus and occasionally in class, of course. But if you have to get up early, you should condition yourself to go to sleep early. This means that if you go to sleep at a certain time--ex. 10:30--for a certain period of time--ex. 2 weeks--then your body will program itself to make you sleep at that time without you having to remind yourself...are you confused yet?

9:30 pm.
My son is 12 and his bedtime is 9:30 pm on school nights. Sleep is so important. Without it, no one can function properly.
