If I understood correctly, your husband has 2 (or more) children from first marriage and 1 child with you ?
Although you have a right to enjoy a family with more children of your own, it is still a decision of the both of you ...
Your husband wanted another child (4th one) 3 years ago, but know changed his mind ? Correct?
Well, he is older ..., children are a big obligation ... not everything in life is as smooth and easy as we wish for and there comes the time when we want to calm down, relax and have it easier ... a newborn is not relaxing !

Wanting another one and having another one are two seperate things.
Take the time to concider your financial situation and your housing situation, along with the other children and the two of you. Can you all handle a new baby at this time?
And talk to him about those things.

To bring a child into the world involves commitment on the part of a mother and a father. If one party is not ready to commit..better to put it off than to have the chlid and then regretting it!

i think can be too a letter of egoism from him , because he had all ready his first kids , so he do not like to have more , i had that problem my self with my husband , and we have the other child any way ,He was OK letter but he wasn't all exited , i think because he had in off of kids , and some men just like to have easy life with out responsibilities , all the good thinks tha came from a wife with out the care of the child's. but if they have al ready kids , is good to find i good woman to take care of them.

You sound like theres a lot on your plate now!
I would suggest talking to a financial adviser, and asking can you afford the child!

I think you have to sit with him an ask him why he doesn't want to have another child? There might be many reasons why he doesn't want one now.
