If you could go back to highschool and change one thing what would you change?

Mine would be my hair. I graduated in 92 and I thought I should not leave the house on the morning until I had bangs that scraped the ceiling or something. Sooooo ugly.

I would have been nicer to people and let them know that they actually did matter. I wouldn't have been so clickish, I would like to have been one of those people that when you looked in your year book and benn like she was always so nice, I can't think of one bad thing so say about her. But, I was not nessaceraly mean to people pysically but mental I think I was. And I wish so much now that I was a nicer person back then. B/c I saw a guy I went to school with and he had came over to my lunch table and was trying to ask me a question about a class and I yelled at him in front of the entire cafeteria "Did I give you permission to speak to me?" And I remembering him hanging his head down and walking outside the cafateria. I guess I was just hateful to people when I was a teenager and I just made amends with him a couple of months ago, I found him on myspace and I apologized. But, now that I am a parent, I want to raise my boys to respect every person that meet with the same respect that they show my husband and I. Now, I am a very active member of my church, and I am a good person I would like to think and I try to help everybody and anybody I can. And all that I can ever do in this world will never be enough to make up to the people I was mean to in highschool. Thats the one thing I would change about highschool!!!

I would paid closer attention to the red flags around my ex. instead of marrying him.

I have met a lot of folks in my 61 years who feel the same thing.

Folks get in too much of a hurry to marry. Before getting married one should seek Christian counseling. They will see things that the couple will ignore or not even see. Counselors also have wonderful "tests" that are fun that will show if the couple are on the "same page" in every respect or just "in lust".

I would go to high school instead of skipping everyday and I would not of beat up as many people as I did back then. I also would not of got kicked out like I done. I guess you know now I was a very bad girl when I got to high school. But it only started in high school. I didn't know how to deal or handle my dad committing suicide.

I would do everything over, first not be so shy and backwards, what is it they say, if I only knew now what I didn't know then?!! Not let anyone or anything bother me, go to the games, get involved in things, wish I would have gone to prom. A total make-over.

My shyness - I would have spoken my mind more and had more fun. I also wouldn't have been so self-conscious - it surprises you 20 years later how many guys wanted to date you back in the days of "I'm so ugly and fat that I will NEVER have a date". And amazingly, they never mention the pimple that you were sure would ruin your looks forever:)

I'd care about my studies a lot more. My grades were top notch in elementary and junior high and by the time I reached high school all I cared about was sliding by. I was living from weekend to weekend.

I would have gotten out sooner (I changed to an alternative program junior year and took classes at a junior college).

i guess id go to high school might have been fun, though i still did graduate college and work at 2 universities, but i guess it still might have been a great social event with a little better crowd???

Yeah definately my sense of style and hair. But also that I would have gone to prom or homecoming. Or maybe that i didn't start smokin weed,

I would have gotten more involved with after school activities and been a little less shy with my peers.
