It was out in the early 80's and It was kind of like power rangers. It was like sci-fi anime. I think it had 6 or 7 teens/ young adults as super heroes. Does anybody remember this show?

Well they were two that come to mind being similar to the Power Rangers.
First is Voldron. The second G-Force. Both are in the 80's.
