In art class, this boy I liked sat next to me. Then, he asked to use my eraser. And after a while, I cut the eraser in half, and gave it to him.

I know its really small, but did I act immaturely?

Being kind is never immature. I think this is a really sweet gesture on your part.

Just one word of warning: Not many people, guy OR girl, might respect the generosity you have and may take advantage of it. Learn how to be kind with wisdom.

All the best, dear girl.

I don't know about immature, but you may have cut your nose off to spite your face. By cutting the eraser in half, you eliminated his need to talk to you. He may not have needed the eraser as much as he said just to have an excuse to talk to you. However, it was a nice thing to do. And if he does like you, he'll figure out another outlet since you missed the cues on this one! Good Luck!

why did you cut it in half ? Did you write "best" on one half, and "friends" on the other ?
