About a week ago my hard drive failed and I ended up losing all of my things, including my music files. Now, most of my music that I listen to most is on my iPod. If you know if there is a way to take my music and put it on my cleared iTunes that would be great.

Thanks.

hi ohnoitsmatto! i think so - give this a try:

1. open itunes then plug ur ipod into ur computer. *immediately cancel a sync/update if it starts automatically*

2. when u plug ur ipod into ur computer, itunes will display a screen - on the Summary tab of this screen, check the box next to "manage music and videos manually".

3. then, on the left side of itunes where ur ipod shows up in the list, click the arrow just to left of ur ipod name. the arrow will then turn into a down arrow and display a list beneath ur ipod. click the "Music" item in this list and the music on ur ipod will be displayed in the right side of the itunes window.

4. now just select the songs (from the right side of the itunes window) you want to copy from ur ipod to itunes and drag and drop into the Library-Music item in the list in the left side of the itunes window.

now you should have your itunes music library restored from ur ipod!

once u get ur itunes library restored, please subscribe to my FREE video podcast on iTunes: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=183309259

First, you opt for a usb cord. Plug your usb cord into your computing gadget and open itunes. There should be a tab which will open up in some second lower than an same tab that announces song, it will be lower than my devises. click on that, then seem on the record interior the bottom, click "sync purely checked songs and video clips" and verify songs you opt for to operate
