Just love them through this and give them time to get over it and to calm down. This is what I do for my husband and this is what he does for me during my mood swings as well... face it ladies we can be just as moody or more moody at times then our guys. Goes both ways you know as no one is perfect and we all have up and down times and moods in our lives dont you agree? We would want our men to love us through our mood swings right?

I was once marry to this type of person and to tell the God to honest truth- "It was like walking on egg shells!"
Everyday was flip a quarter in the air to see what he was going to be like on that day!
What I did was divorce after 9 years of marriage. And if you think I tried, think again. I also felt he may not of beat the kids but the hold mental scars today over this course of wasted time.
Some people are not just happy with themselves, never alone anything else! And my husband was one of them.
It's not a good answer and divorce never is, no mater who many years invested. I wasn't going to put myself or kids threw this BS for any more time, love nor money!
Just my opinion, heart and kids feelings.

you should buy one of those small portable speakers and attach it to your ipod. so whenever he has a mood swing, you just turn on the music and the Baha Men will sing "Who Let The Dogs Out" and then you can do the "who who" part.
He'll get the hint and you'll get to listen to some fine music throughout the day.

If you find out let me know!!! Can't be any worse than them dealing with ours' though!
I've been reading a book about men and women and how to relate to each other and also why we don't understand each other.
Women want to talk, talk, talk about their problems and have someone listen and console them. Talking makes us feel as if a weight is lifted. And most men just want to give us solutions to fix our problems, not talk with us and make us feel better, which makes us even madder!
Men don't like to talk about their problems, they go and find a spot to chill out at or something to clear their minds (tv, video games, computer, friends' house and even work) and return mentally (to the man you fell in love with) when feeling better or when problem is solved.
Men are all about the solutions and women are all about the details and nuturing.
Men can't or won't relay the details until the problem is solved, they don't like to feel powerless or feel like there is something they can't do.
Just let the man be when he is acting moody, don't you even try asking him what is wrong! He will not tell you until he is ready and he will not be ready even when you ask with caring intent. Leave him alone, he will talk to you when he is better. And personally, you are better off leaving him be, many fights have insued at my house when my hubby is moody, simply because I want to hear the details and help him when all he wants to do is fix it by himself.
Good luck dear! Hang in there! I swear mens' menstrual cycles (thats what I call it!) are more frequent and intense than ours'!

a similar techniques you will like him to handle your temper swings. do not lash out at him or %. a combat. particularly be calm. perhaps grant him a lager, neckrub, on my own time or some thing alongside those strains. perhaps humorous tale approximately it, ask if this is his time of the month (my hubby swears he has one w/o the bleeding) as quickly as I observe that he's cranky I ask if he needs some chocolate or some thing. this is our interior humorous tale that lightens the temper a sprint.

MIDOL! It works wonders. Everytime my husband gets grumpy, I simply tell him it's aspirin for his headache. He's none the wiser.
And for those of you who are going to tell me this is just completely wrong of me. .... This is a man who pelts me with Midol at the first sign of PMS....and jokes he's going to buy stock in the company, along with making a suggestion to Walmart that they should have it lit up with a neon sign in aisle so husbands can find it. Trust me, turn about is fair play. I found something that works and I swear by it. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Ignore him. Eventually they will get over whatever issue it is that has their mood all messed up. To me men are not supposed to be moody.
