Neither Aries or Scorpio are aggressive.

Aries is proud, ambitious, useful, they have a desire to achieve success through force and they might have leadership qualities but they are not aggressive at all. The force they use is an intelligent way to prevail and to conquer but they won't hurt anyone to obtain their goals. On the other hand Scorpios are powerful, mysterious, self-protective, they might revenge when hurt but they do not use aggression. If no one step over their tail, they won't sting. In the cases they become extremely hurt they would plan a revenge and will strike at the right moment but behind this there is a real reason, they won't loose their time with fighting and arguments if there is no pain that they still remember. Yes, I won't hide that when the Scorpio is moody they can be harsh and rude but not aggressive. Actually all the Scorpio friends I have I didn't see to be aggressive, I have an Aries friend and she is even very yielding.

Actually every sign could be aggressive because the aggression is caused by violence. If someone exercises violence over another person, that is aggression and nothing to do with the planets' influence.

Aries. Scorpio finds few opponents they consider worthy. Most times they just let it slide off their back and retreat to their private sanctuary. Aries is ruled by Mars, Scorpio is only co-ruled by Mars. That's only because Pluto had not been discovered as yet. Just as Gemini and Virgo are ruled by Mercury. That's because we have yet to discover the other planet. Same with Saturn used as co-ruler.
Aries will do battle and think about the consequences later. Scorpio is shrewd and always considers every angle. And sometimes, the best won battle is not to have one at all! It makes the opposition crazy, and they forever worry about when it's going to happen. Aries is impulsive and rushes in. Scorpio is a strategist, and wastes no energy. I kind of liken it to that scene from Troy. Where the humungous gladiator comes out snickering and beating his chest like some victorious ape, because he always inspires fear in people because of his size, and wins every battle? And everybody is laughing? And then in rides little Achilles, and very strategically sizes him up, doesn't waste his energy, just plants his sword where it does the damage and gets the job done. Much like the Scorpion's sting. But he didn't do it willingly. They are generally either provoked, or doing it because they are just left with no other choice. Therein lies the difference between the Mars of an Aries, and the co-ruler Mars of Scorpio. Because with Pluto as their ruler, they know they control the secrests of life and death. And they have no fear of death, which is why they can be so analytical. Aries, on the other hand, doesn't stop to think, they do. Which is why they are so accident-prone and bear scars, usually at a young age. Only later in life do they learn to harness and channel the power of Mars productively.

I honestly think that Aries is way more aggressive than Scorpio. However, Strategically speaking Scorpio wins hands down.

An Aries will tell you s/he is going to hurt you, whereas a Scorpio would plan your demise and never tell you a thing - blindsiding you completely.

Pluto's actually enhances some of the characteristics that Mars brings to Scorpio. Mars being the planet of Sex / Passion, War and Strategy. Pluto being the planet of Death / Rebirth, Goals and Strength. Therefore it only strengthens those attributes that Mars has already bestowed upon it.

I would think Aries is the more aggressive given that by its nature, Aries has a need to always assert itself. the true warrior, yet also the bully. Scorpio on the other hand, though powerful, will generally not assert its force unless provoked. Bruce Lee had alot of Scorpio energy.

being a scorpio, i wouldnt say that we like fighting. it's not like we plan our day to have arguments. i have a friend who's an aries, and she'll argue just for the hell of it. say anything, and she'll jump right down your throat. it's all talk though - aries are animated when they want to be. although we can get mean, scorpios really arent like this. granted, we can be - usually if we have been hurt and the memories come over us -then we're total bitches. i had an ex friend that always did and said things to offend me. even though they knew what they were doing and knew how it made me feel, they still did it. on days he wasnt a complete jackass, i still felt hurt and i would bring it up, letting him know i didnt appreciate it. then that would start arguments. it made me so mad that he could be so cruel one day, then the next he could act like i didnt have the right to be offended, you know? like, 'i did those things yesterday. forget about it and be happy today.'

i would say scorpios are more aggressive. we come off as defensive and very guarded people, even when we arent trying to be. i think it's because we feel things strongly. but i dont think we like conflict or fighting - it's rather tiring. the only reason we do it in the first place is to let others know we cant be walked on or punked. take my little brother for example - he's a scorpio. he's so quiet and he keeps to himself. he never goes looking for any trouble. you'd swear he was timid or meek when you first meet him. but get him angry or do something to offend him - he'll try to keep from striking out for as long as he can. when he's had enough - that stinger comes right out!

i dont think aries is aggressive or likes conflict either - i think that they like to be loud sometimes. like my friend - she's not walking around trying to kick a** or get into fights. dont get me wrong, aries can throw down when they need to, but not before they rant and rave. she just likes to talk and get loud with people sometimes. i think it's rather funny. or when she doesnt get her way, then she goes on a cursing spree - kind of like a tamtrum. but in the end, it's just words. heated words, yes - but words nonetheless.

'ARIES' WOMEN definately! are the more aggressive and fiery....They will stop at nothing get what they want without thought of anyone else...have no conscience....they are fiery exhibitionists...mostly I think through insecurity, from my experiences...WATCH OUT!!!.........whereas 'SCORPIOS' that I've met are much deeper when it comes to feelings...they are quite trusting sometimes too much for their own good....do not take them for granted and under estimate them....if pushed they would sooner take the time to plan out their 'executions'...with a lot more thought behind it....(think 'Carrie')...oooh be careful....
