The game stores in our area carry power cords for systems
and there's always e bay

definately a bad idea, try game shops I got mine at a chain called Buyback came from a third party but tweaked to the proper amplitude etc (not an electrician). Reminds you that the AV cord is the same for the SNES N64 and Gamecube incase you need that too
