sometimes people have dreams, but they aren't vivid enough to remember. So, that may be your case. But, if you are getting only 6 hours or less of sleep a night, then you probably don't have enough time to dream. We dream right before we wake up, and if they are interesting, we will remember them. Our most intense dream is after the six hour mark. Try sleeping longer than 6 hours and doing interesting and fun activities through out the day. Have good conversations, watch a cool movie, hang out with a friend, something that will jog the mind. Then you might just dream.

You most likely are dreaming, but just can't remember the dreams. However, if you are sleep deprived, then there is a possibility that you might not be dreaming; that your sleep cycle is interrupted due to lack of sleep. If that is the case, try to relieve all stressors 1-2 hours before bed; no tv, no computer, etc. You may even want to eat something that is conducive to sleep, like a turkey sandwich or peanut butter sandwich. If this persists you may wish to contact the nearest sleep center, or Center For Sleep Disorders near you. Feel free to check out my group, (listed below), as we have this question appear often at the group. Good luck and Sweet dreams! :)

IN short, one of the best ways to get yourself dreaming again is to start a dream journal. I tmay not make much sense now that you're not actively remembering your dreams, but the simple fact is that even when you can't remember, you were still dreaming. Make it a habit to spend a few minutes each night before you go to sleep repeating to yourself "I will remember my dream. I will wake and remember my dreams." as you fade into slumber. When you wake, cloase your eyes again and do your best to clear it and let any remnants of your dream stroll back through your mind. Any time you do remember something, write it in your journal with as many details as you can remember. The more detailed, the better, and the more you will start to remember. It may take a few weeks, but eventually you'll notice your dream journal pages filling faster nad faster. Do a google search if you want, for more info, but that should get you off to a good start!
Happy dreaming!

Everyone dreams... sometimes you just dont remember them. i actually had to do a speech on it in college. Before you go to bed, focus on good things... and try to tell yourself to remember them. As soon as you wake up in the morning, write down what is in your head, because if you dont, chances are, you are going to forget it. What you dream, you cant change that.. dreams are your levels of feelings.. like if you are insecure, self esteem levels, finacial fixed, in a good area in your life, happy, etc.

You must dream, only you forget your dreams. If you didn't dream for an extended period of time, you would literally go crazy and die.
