Great Britain is another way of saying UK. The full name is The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The UK is made up of 4 constitutional countries: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland (not the Republic of Ireland).

The British Isles are made up of the countries of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland, and England.

The United Kingdom's full name is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, so it's composed of Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland, and England.

Great Britain is only one Island where Wales, Scotland, and England are.

England is just the largest country in Great Britain, with Wales to the West and Scotland to the North.

So as you go from British Isles to United Kingdom to Great Britain to England you are reducing the number of countries from 5 to 4 to 3 to 1.
