I would say it is a reliable company as it has been around
a long time, as far as fulfilling the terms of a given policy
goes. However, as for getting more bang for your bucks,
I would look elsewhere.

Let me first state that you should only buy insurance to replace income. If the child has an income that is needed for the family to continue to survive, then insurance makes sense. The only other reason that life insurance for children should only be bought is if it would be a big burden for burial expenses if a child dies. In that case, buy only enough insurance to cover the casket, services and burial. Period.

As to the reliability issue... A.M. Best (the insurance reliability rating company) give them a rating of A+ The only rating higher than that is A++.
