If it's anything like my 2000 CR-V I'd change it yearly since it's just a drain plug and no pan to drop or filter to replace. It's easy and inexpensive important maintenance, like doing an oil change but no filter, just replace oil that drains out. If you flush it and get all the fluid out then you can go 30,000 miles but if you do it yourself you don't get all the fluid out. That's why I do it yearly and this way it replenishes enough of the fluid and keeps it clean.

i own a shop and this needs to be changed every 30 thousand miles at the least,the book says you can go longer then that but i always recommend it be changed at or around 30 thousand,this keeps good clean fluid in the transmission and helps reduce the risk of damage to it,good luck i hope this helps.

like dodge said 30k .. honda reconmend every 30k . i work at honda dealer as tech
